The information presented in this report shows the interaction of Saudi Arabia and State of Kuwait in terms of economic and social factors.

In December 2025, Saudi Arabia exported 1.6 billion to State of Kuwait, representing 0.8% of Saudi Arabia's total exports during that month.

The main products exported by Saudi Arabia to State of Kuwait in December 2025 were dairy produce; birds' eggs; honey; other edible produce and boilers, machinery, mechanical goods; parts thereof.

Regarding non-oil exports, these amounted to 812.3 million, with animals and their products being the main product exported to State of Kuwait.

In December 2025, Saudi Arabia imported 142.6 million from State of Kuwait, representing 0.2% of Saudi Arabia's total imports during that month.

The main products imported by Saudi Arabia from State of Kuwait in December 2025 were articles of iron or steel and preparations of cereals, flour, starch or milk.

State of Kuwait achieved positive growth in the foreign direct investment (FDI) stock at the end of 2024 with Saudi Arabia, which amounted to 36.0 billion, compared to the FDI stock of 2023, which was 35.6 billion.

Saudi Arabia's exports to State of Kuwait in 2025 reached a total of 11.8 billion. The main section wise exports in terms of commercial value were dairy produce; birds' eggs; honey; other edible produce ( 1.4 billion), boilers, machinery, mechanical goods; parts thereof ( 736.5 million), and electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof ( 725.6 million).

Non-Oil Exports

Non-oil exports from Saudi Arabia to State of Kuwait in March 2026 reached a total of 812.3 million. The main non-oil exports were animals and their products ( 213.2 million), products of the chemical industries ( 107.4 million), and base metals and their articles ( 91.8 million).

Saudi Arabia's imports from State of Kuwait in 2025 reached a total of 1.7 billion. The main section wise imports in terms of commercial value were articles of iron or steel ( 182.7 million), paper and paperboard; articles thereof ( 149.5 million), and pharmaceutical products ( 114.6 million).

FDI Flow

In 2024, the value of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Inflow was 767.3 million while the FDI Outflow reached a value of 427.7 million. These amounts resulted in an FDI Net Inflow of 339.6 million, lower by 86.7% than the previous year.

Note:

FDI inflows: Financial transactions that arise between the FDI institution, direct investors and related companies outside the Saudi economy, which occur during a certain period of time, and form inflows when their positive impact appears in excess of equity and/or debt instruments.

FDI outflows: These are financial transactions that arise between the Foreign Direct Investment Corporation, direct investors, and related companies outside the Saudi economy, and which occur during a certain period of time. They are outflows when their impact appears in a decrease in the side of obligations, such as paid dividends or repayment of loans and credit receivables, or when the foreign shareholder exits.

FDI net inflow: It represents the difference between inflows and outflows of foreign direct investment inflows.
